I have 3 years of experience teaching students music and providing private tutoring in all subjects within a general curriculum. I work extremely well with students aged 6-17 and believe I have found a reliable method to engage young learners in an entertaining and memorable way. I'd describe my personality as affable, personable, engaged. I like tutoring because I believe it is an effective way to personalize the learning experience and give students a chance to learn one-on-one in a way that encourages the pursuit of knowledge. I started tutoring when I was in college and have continued teaching throughout my 20s. In my spare time, I like to record, perform and play music. Zane is an incredible musician and an excellent teacher. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and very personable. I took lessons with him years ago, and after only the first lesson I felt like I was already a drummer! He left me with techniques that I could practice on my own, even without a drum kit, which was super helpful. I still remember all the things I learned from Zane, and I imagine he’s grown even more as a teacher since then! I highly recommend him!
