About Yumeji

I started tutoring when I was 17, as a high school student, over 10 years before I decided to go to graduate school to get my master's in secondary teaching with a credential in math. I pride myself in my ability to be a compassionate educator while also holding high expectations and scaffolding students according to their needs. I think learning should feel like a fun challenge and I try my best to instill this attitude in my students. I've had several private tutoring students that I tutored for over 4 years and have tutored in a range of subjects, including Language Arts, Math, Science, and SAT prep. My best qualities are my kindness, lightheartedness, and thorough explanations when it comes to educating students!
