About Patrick

I am a certificated teacher (certified) in the state of Washington with a strong background in education. I currently teach second grade at a Title 1 elementary school in the Eastside, where I've been dedicated to student growth and success for the past three years. Prior to my classroom teaching experience, I provided personalized tutoring for middle school and high school students across a range of needs, including special education, students performing below grade level, high-achieving learners, and general education support such as organization and study skills. My goal is to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps students thrive academically and build confidence. I specialize in reading and math intervention for elementary and middle school students, but enjoy working with all students. When not teaching, I enjoy; working on cars, exploring by foot or kyak, playing tennis, gardening, roller skating, completing home projects, and of course, learning!
