Hello, my name is Ymelda. Here's a little bit about myself. I am 26 years old, currently attending college pursuing my Bachelors in Nursing! I'm cofounder of an Christian based organization called project 4:29. Project 4:29 is an anti-bullying coalition whose main focus is visiting schools and talking to children about ways they can spread kindness as well as positivity to one another. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I've cared for children whose age range from infants to teenagers. I can help around the house by performing light house cleaning and meal prep. I have my own mode of transportation so I can also help with pickups/drop-offs for school and/or after-school activities. I love art and crafts, science experiments, playing outside, sports, listening to music, dancing, helping with homework, bedtime stories and many more! I am also CPR/First aid certified. Over the past year and a half Ymelda has been the nanny for our son. During her time with us, Ymelda demonstrated exceptional skills in caring for our baby and now toddler. She engages so well with educational activities and play while ensuring safety is a priority. She connected with our little one in a patient, calm, and fun way and does this while also taking care of meal, nap time, and diaper duties. Ymelda creatively used the activities and supplies I provided to help teach our toddler ABCs, numbers, colors and help him to speak his first words. Our child has thrived under her care. She always respected our wishes with instructions and feedback and overall we feel fortunate to have had her as our nanny. I would highly recommend her.
