About Yasmin

Hi there! My name is Yasmin and I have double major in Hospitality Management. However, I have always had a love to teach and care for children. In high school I taught English as a second language to underprivileged children. I have also worked for one year at Lummi Nation School as a Teaching Assistant with at risk students in the 2nd grade. After my first year of University I spent my summer in Madrid, Spain as an Au pair for three Spanish children. My duties included working on homework with the children, playing and feeding them. After my summer I took a gap year and volunteered with Operation School Bell here in Seattle which clothed foster children of all ages. I have also worked two summers at Peace Camp as a camp counselor to children ages 5-15. I am driven and passionate about being a fun, loving, and responsible tutor to children of all backgrounds and ages. Last summer in 2018 I became a certified English teacher to students abroad and have always wanted to teach.
