About Ximena

I'm a 20-year-old college student and I'm currently living in Renton. I have experience with children of all ages, from 5-month-old babies to 11-year-old kids. My last jobs have been taking care of babies from 5-11 months babies and children from 1-7 years old. I was a nanny for three 8-year-old girls for 5 months. I worked with them after school, took care of them, prepared their meals and did cooking activities. I also helped them with learning Spanish as a second language. For two summers I volunteered as a teacher's assistant at a camp at Kinovu Preschool which is a bilingual preschool where I was in charge of 2-3-year-olds and babies from 8 months old. I learned about child care and development. I volunteered as an equine therapy assistant, provided assistance to children and young people with genetic disorders or disabilities, such as Down syndrome, autism, blindness etc. My first language is Spanish and I'm still learning English.
