About Wendy

Hi, I'm Wendy! I've had a passion for childcare for as long as I can remember and began my work in the babysitting field at age 14. Since then, I have spent the last decade working with about 10 different families, offering individualized care to each one based on their children's developmental needs and interests. Last June, I graduated from UCLA with a degree in psychology and a minor in applied developmental psychology (ADP). During my time in the ADP program, I had the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of child development and apply that knowledge hands-on in an infant/toddler classroom on campus. By participating in the program, I was also able to hone my care-giving skills by partaking in research-based practices, allowing each child to flourish on his or her own distinct developmental trajectory. Most recently, I worked as an infant teacher in San Diego, CA but have since moved back to LA in search of a full-time nanny position. I look forward to hearing from you!
