About Wendy

I enjoy working with children because they are cutting edge evolution and to witness them blossom into the gifted people they are meant to become is always engaging for me. I have three kids of my own who are now in their mid-thirties and I am a grandma as well. Since moving to LA in 2012 I've nannied for several families who are now full time in school but still call me Yaya and Nana on the rare occasions I get to watch them and I consider them my fairy grandchildren. In my spare time, I practice meditate and also teach meditation. I love hand embroidery, quilting and knitting, and daily walks around the Marina where I live. I also have a black belt in karate which illustrates consistency and dedication in achieving one's goals. I like to teach children this same attitude - that anything is achievable. I am looking for a job that is a great match for both of us!
