About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as patient, kind and compassionate. I enjoy working with children for many reasons! For one I strongly believe it provides an opportunity to positively influence social, emotional, and physical development. I have been working with children for 6 years now. I currently work as a Montessori assistant teacher. With Montessori I implement a lot of self-directed activities, hands on learning, and collaborative play. When working with children I love getting to know the children for who they truly are and what they want to become and encourage them to achieve their true potential. I love arts and crafts and DIY activities that promote creativity with children. I look forward to meeting you soon! I'm looking for a job that is consistent, reliable, and offers flexibility. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym more often now, I found interest in learning to crochet, and I love walks at the beach. My skills include patience, empathy, and charisma.
