I graduated on the Dean's List at SIUE earning a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Art and an Illinois teaching certificate. During my time in college, I also raised three amazing children of my own. Since graduating, I have been a substitute teacher in various local schools teaching grades K-8 with long term positions in Language Arts, PE, and Pre-K. I have also worked as a teacher in daycare settings and Pre-K For All. Recently I was an in-home teacher for two separate families and started an in home Pre-K of my own. I Iove working with children and the joy their smiles and laughter bring into my life. It makes me feel good to teach as well as care for children as I assist in giving them a life-long love of learning. I am very patient, playful, and kind; and I look forward to working with you and your child.

Ms Wendy was our nanny for 6 years! She is a wonderful person and is loving, patient, kind and understanding. Her love for children is obvious. She works hard to provide a great experience which included weekly plans, play, learning, fun outings, art, etc. We truly enjoyed having her as part of our family.
