About Wendi

Hello, I am a mom of 4 adult children, and have been caring for children besides my own for 40 years. My career before leaving to raise my family was working with special needs teens and young adults and teaching life skills. The past 2 years I have been a nanny for a wonderful family with infant twins, who are now moving out of state. Before the twins, I cared for the sweetest infant until he entered preschool. I love caring for little ones, and providing care to encourage developmental growth. I enjoying reading, sensory play, outdoor walks and activities, and lots of snuggles with little ones. I love teaching through music and art. and even going on outings I have provided care in their homes or mine, I am comfortable with transportation and have my own current car seats. I am also comfortable with pets and believe in keeping play/care areas neat and tidy. When not caring for little ones, I am at Disney with my 84-year-old Dad! I also enjoy, gardening, music and travel.

Run, don’t walk to hire Wendi! For the past two years Wendi has loved, nurtured, spoiled, and grown with my twins (now 2.5). We’re a military family and relocating with small kids and knowing no one is scary. Wendi quickly became our family and will forever be family. I could not recommend her more. I only wish we could take her with us on our next adventure, as there is no one quite like her!
