About Barbara

I have been teaching preschool and doing childcare/nanny jobs for over 10 years now. I have worked with infants and up to Pre-K, I have also worked with older children in the summer months. I love being with children and being part of their amazing little worlds. I love to teach them fun and new things through creative art projects and through play. I love to explore and open their world up to what is all around them. I find the most important thing a child care giver can give is love, patience, guidance and security,(to feel safe while their family is out). Nothing gives my heart more joy than to be able to imagine with a child, see what they see, be excited and get into stories and become part of that story. I am dependable, punctual, not afraid of light housekeeping while a child naps. I love animals they will get love from me too! I have my own car. I am CPR and first aide certified. I have my CDA teaching certificate for teaching preschool.

Barbara is extremely active in taking children to participate in play dates, parks, art and crafts, petting zoos, and any other children's events available. I've seen her set up children's learning station in the home, and always projects like cookies, slime, gardening, painting, and many so much more. The children she's cared for until school age, still have opportunity for play dates and interaction. Once your children are one of her kids, they are always part of her tribe.
