I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and caring. My passion for elder care stems from a profound respect for seniors. I value learning from their experiences and providing companionship, comfort, and support during potentially difficult and lonely years. Seeking a position where I can apply my strengths in empathy, patience, and communication to provide support and adapt to diverse clients needs. At 17, I took on caregiving for my son's grandmother with cancer, later earning healthcare certifications and transitioning to retail entrepreneurship. My personal life centers around family, dog training, and hobbies like fishing, travel, and cooking. I also cherish visits to my sister's Kentucky home. In 2021, I experienced a tragic loss due to Covid-19, losing my mother, sister, and her twin brother in one month. I was granted permission to care for my hospitalized mother, staying with her for eight critical days. My skills include patience, communication and empathy.
