I've been a Home Health Aide for over 20 years, on & off. Although currently employed, I'm looking to increase my income by providing care independently around my present 20 hour work week. For the right position, I'd terminate the job. I started caring for the elderly as a volunteer. Should've known I had a penchant for elder care and companionship, because I was always the child who was always under foot of the elders in my family. The families of my clients would tell you that their loved ones become family to me & I give them all nicknames. Before my employ in 3 agencies; after graduating from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2010, I began working at a senior care home. I also work as a housekeeper, on the side; as well as a cook for single fathers. I enjoy caring for people and references would attest to that fact. I'm personable, funny with the gift of gab. Experienced in medication management, hospice/Alzheimer's and dementia care.
