About Mary

I am a retired counselor. During my college years, I worked as a CNA in various nursing home settings including a state psychiatric hospital. I am presently a stay at home mom also working as a substitute teacher within the Calcasieu Parish School District. I'd describe my personality as supportive, optimistic and enthusiastic. I like caring for seniors because they are family and deserve the upmost respect. I'm looking for a job that I enjoy, allows me to be part of our community and keeps me busy. I'm no longer interested in working in an office setting, I'm hoping this job will be a great fit. I started caring for seniors right after I graduated high school. I worked as a CNA for a local nursing home and continued throughout college. I was also interested in psychology so I worked at the state psychiatric hospital. One thing you should know about me is I am very dependable. If I make a commitment to help you, I will do everything possible to fulfill that promise.
