About Victoria

Hello! I taught preschool at the Heller JCC in Chicago for 5 years and ran a summer camp + after school program there. I taught Recycle and Cultural Arts Workshops to K-12 graders - at schools, libraries and museums. I also homeschooled my own gifted son for 4 years. I'd describe my personality as creative, positive and curious. I like working with kids because they are open to new experiences, enjoy having fun and are curious about learning. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and creative. I want to support families by providing dependable childcare and interactive activities. I started working with kids in 1995. In my spare time, I like to crochet and knit, make dolls, swim, do yoga, camp, hike, cook + read. One thing you should know about me is that I am a great listener. I love hearing stories and am fascinated by children's imagination. My skills include having clear boundaries around house rules, patience with diverse learners, and lots of energy!
