About Veronika

I have more than 10 years of nursing experience. Facility nursing has helped me gain a thorough understanding of the variety of skills required, such as working with ambulatory clients, bed care, mental challenges and nourishment issues. Although I loved working in the nursing home, it has also made me realize that more and more seniors want to be cared for in their own home and that there is often a more positive outlook if that wish is made possible. I prefer home nursing because I feel that I can bond more closely with my client, their families and their pets. Likewise, I have come to experience that clients , who live at home, look at me differently also; they have more trust, share more, want to take more charge of their own health. I love to sit down with my clients and listen to them since they help me shape my own character; to be a better person. My favorite quote is by Mother Teresa: "Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier".
