I'm kind, patient, reliable, I enjoy working with the senior population due to their life long of experience and wisdom, A bit about me, I started in hospice care, assisting patients at end of life with their ADL's and a support to their love ones, I have also provided skilled nursing for a few years for another health network which included skills such as catheter placements, wound care, lab draws, vital assessments, trach care, medication management and a lot of teaching and reinforcement. I also have Case Management experience working with the older population with programs that would allow them to have a better quality of life with the goal of them remaining safe in their home and community. My skills include Wound-care including negative pressure wound vacs, catheter care, vital checks, medication management including diabetic management, some NG tube experience but a refresher would be great, lab draws, tracheotomy care, basic home making tasks, bathing/dressing/grooming task.
