About Vanessa

Hey there, I have tutored throughout college but I found my love for helping folks learn as a child and throughout high school. I also nanny for young children and have experience teaching dance to young kids. I tutor all subjects from kindergarten-high school and college level for the sciences. I specialize in the physical and biological sciences (especially Chemistry and Ecology) as well as math courses up to calculus, including statistics. I also enjoy tutoring English, literature, writing, comprehension, and public speaking. I like to focus on positive reinforcement and finding a student's preferred learning style. I also assist students with study tools, setting goals, and creating schedules. I believe studying any subject takes time management, organization, consistency, and patience. I would love to support students achieve their study goals in any way they need!
