About Kerry
I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University in 2007. Whilst there I was fortunate enough to have countless experiences in varied school environments and thus feel confident that I will make an effective, capable and most important, enthusiastic teacher/ tutor and/or caregiver for your child. I have since worked in various schools in South Florida before my move to North Carolina, where I became certified. My teaching style is best described as productive and creative. I enjoy creating instruction methods that are eclectic and incorporate various materials, activities and resources. I am also well-versed in the various learning styles of students and take this and the students' interests into consideration when planning lessons. I am also a firm believer in the saying "It takes a town to raise a child" and consequently understand the importance of playing my part in the education and growth of the children I work with, along with parents.
