About Vanessa

*Please Read* Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Vanessa. I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro! I enjoy expressing myself creatively, as it helps me to connect with myself and others. I live in a diverse family so growing up I've been exposed to a variety of cultures, which has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the world and develop a compassionate perspective toward those around me. EXPERIENCE: Growing up, my mother was often busy with work, and being the eldest I took it upon myself to step in and help by taking care of my three younger siblings. Throughout the years I've developed an abundance of caregiver skills, such as being patient, understanding children's needs, developing stamina, and learning to engage positively with young children. With those skills I babysat a 4-year-old boy for a summer and another family with a 1-year-old and 5-year-old! *I do not have CPR certification but will train per parent's request!
