About Kathleen

I have served families and children as a babysitter, nanny, and teacher over the last 40 years. I've been working with children since starting with my first babysitting job at the age of 14 and continued through high school. In college I began working as a nanny serving families, ultimately allowing me to parlay those skills together. I spent my college years working as a private nanny while I pursued my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, following it up with my Master's Degree in the same field. Upon graduating, I began a teaching career, teaching children as young as three and as old as Fifth Grade. Since retiring from teaching four years ago, I have found I still love working with children, and began babysitting for a small number of families, and began working as a nanny part-time. Recently I have added tutoring to my repertoire to help children that need assistance with different subjects. My schedule allows for flexibility as needed.
