About Valerie

I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic, and supportive. I like working with kids because I love watching them grow. I work with kids because I love it! Watching them turn into their own people is extremely fulfilling. I'm looking for a job that is full-time, long term, and has good communication. I work hard as a nanny and am hoping to find a family who values that. I started working with kids when I was 12. I got Safe-Sitter certified at the end of my 7th grade year when I was in girl scouts, and started babysitting the neighborhood kids. In my spare time, I like to take care of my animals, spending time in nature (or photographing it!), and hanging out with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am very committed to my job. I plan on working with kids my entire life, most likely in an educational setting after I complete school. My skills include communication, creating a confidence-building environment for children, and organizing!
