About Amber

I am an experienced daycare worker who's been working in the field of childcare for four years. I've cared for children ages 4mo to 13 years as well as nannying a child from the age of 6mo to 18mo this past year. Working with children is my calling, I'm currently enrolled at Solano Community College taking a couple early childhood classes and I am one class away from obtaining my ECE certification. I am very comfortable with animals as I've also worked at two doggy daycares and had my own pet sitting business for three years! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic and fun! I like working with kids because I love to watch them hit their milestones and grow into an amazing little person. I started working with kids when I was 10 when I helped out in my cousins pre-k class. It was from there on I knew that I wanted to peruse a career in working with children. Amber is very responsible, punctual, and a very reliable sitter. We had her as a sitter for around a year with our little girl starting when she was only about 5 months old. It was scary finding someone who could care for our baby while we were working but Amber made it easy since our girl immediately loved her! She is really good with kids and taught our girl many new things, from new words to how to play with different toys. She's very great with feedback if there's something you would like her to work on with your child or do differently. She's also very knowledgeable of milestones for different ages. I could not recommend her enough! We are so grateful we had her for our baby's first year.
