About Valentina

Valentina nannied for us from 2016 until 2019. We have two children, whom she started caring for when they were 9 months old and 3 years old. We could not have asked for a more kind, personable, sincere, trustworthy, hard working, clean and tidy, organized, dedicated, honest and gentle spirited woman of character to help us raise our children when both of us were working full time jobs with a demanding schedule. Over 3+ years, she was never once late and responded without hesitation during a few situations when we were in need of urgent help. She was always flexible with her availability (we really pushed this, by asking her to come at 5am or stay until 11pm or spend the night sometimes). She spent countless hours reading to our kids and playing with them - she connects with them in a very meaningful way and I attribute many of their kind actions and polite demeanor to the example they learned from Valentina. Our son just turned 4 and speaks articulately in full, grammatically correct sentences - thanks to all the time Valentina spent conversing with him. Our daughter is 7 (1st grade) and reads at a 5th grade level now - I credit this to Valentina and all the time she spent investing in them and how she taught them to enjoy reading starting when they were smaller. Valentina truly blessed our family during the 3 years she was with us in Abilene - I would work with her a thousand times over...and yes, 6 months later our kids still ask when they can see her again!
