About Bethany

Most of my adult years have been spent raising and educating my children with many prior years watching others' children. I am a believer in t. v. being at a minimum, and would rather spend time in other opportunities. I have cared for special needs children in my neighborhood and through church and am open to any needed training. I'd describe my personality as playful, firm on safety, and big on learning. I love seeing the world through children's eyes and exploring with them. I've completed 99% of an Early Childhood Education Associates Degree. I have a background in certified caregiving, I am CPR/First-Aid certified, and have a food-handler's permit. I'm looking for a job that will also allow me to have my 3 1/2-year-old daughter with me. In my spare time, I like to do art, dance, read, write, garden, cook, go on walks, and more.

Bethany takes care of my son so I can attend church. He has autism and a rare genetic disorder. My son is 7, says a few words, sometimes has behavior issues, and Is very active. She takes amazing care of him. She is very patient with him. She spends her time teaching him different things and doing lots of activities. We both love her and look forward to our Sunday's now. Safety is my number one concern, when it comes to my son, and with Bethany I never have to worry. I would recommend her to anyone needing a caregiver.
