About Valentina

Hello! I am a UCLA graduate with my B. A in Public Affairs and with over eight years of experience working with children. Most recently, I was a garden teacher within the Oakland Unified and Contra Costa Unified School Districts. I have a Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification and a CA food handlers certification. I enjoy creating hands-on activities and games to empower kids to get outside and explore the natural world around them! If you have a garden, I'm more than happy to help out in the garden and teach the kids how to as well. I am currently seeking a part time or full time nannying position while I complete my online certification course to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL). I am open to both short term and long term roles, as I am looking to save money to travel and eventually move abroad to teach. In my free time, I love to hike, rock climb, and create.
