About Tracy

I've been a babysitter since childhood and regularly in highschool. During and after college, I was an environmental educator for elementary-aged classes about animals and life sciences. Currently, I babysit on the side and would love to nanny regularly, even full time! I understand child development, so I take time getting to know each child to create a safe accommodating space they can choose to be a part of. I lead with empathy, patience, and kindness but teach firm and clear boundaries. I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences and worked as a veterinary technician, so I LOVE pets. I want to write a children's book and so far dabbled a few illustrations! I love arts/crafts & projects, and have a lot of hobbies like painting, cooking, and studying niche subjects! I speak a mild amount of Spanish, but not fluent. I am a Christian and attend Watermark Community church often throughout the week. And I'm recently engaged getting married to my best friend this July 2024! :)
