About Laurajane

Hi, I'm LauraJane! I'm from a large family with 17 nieces and nephews, and I've always loved spending time with kids. I regularly take the kids out for the day or host sleepovers. The oldest is born in 2009, so I've gained hands-on experience with children of all ages. I also have a degree in Youth and Family Services, where I learned about child development and family dynamics. While I haven't done much paid babysitting, I spent six years as a Production Manager, which helped me develop strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, perfect for keeping kids engaged and safe! Additionally, I was a Sunday School teacher for 3-5-year-olds, which taught me to plan activities and manage groups of children. One of my sisters had cerebral palsy, so I'm very comfortable working with children or individuals with disabilities. I'm excited to transition out of manufacturing and into childcare.
