I'm a 60-year-old single woman--recently relocated from Vermont to Raleigh. I was a Budget Analyst after college with the FBI (D. C. Headquarters). This role required an extensive background check for Top Secret clearance. My most recent job was with Simpleroute, a VT company that handles cybersecurity for VT businesses. This role required a background check. I resigned in May of 2024 when I moved to NC. My 1st foray into official caregiving--although I have been caring for others for as long as I can remember. Last year I provided part-time care for my ex-husband during his critical illness as he waited for a transplant. He was cognitively and physically impaired. My adult children & his siblings will tell you that I was incredibly patient, kind & helpful. At times I had suggestions that the nurses hadn't thought of. And this was with the man I divorced! I'm compassionate, intelligent, patient, engaging & care deeply about others. References available upon request.
