About Tish

Hello all! My name is Tish, and for the past 10+ years I have had the great privilege of assisting in the care of my now 11, 8, and 6-year-old nephews who have helped me to understand what is required to nurture, educate, and assist in their growth. I have a great passion for education & an extensive history in Advanced Placement English courses with passing scores on examination. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish and since then, I have tutored numerous students varying from elementary to university in both English courses as well as Spanish 1-4. My education has allowed me to transfer my skills and knowledge to others through one-on-one hands-on tutoring, online lectures, worksheets as well as the administration of quizzes and tests. With these skills, I have assisted many in passing their courses and gaining a better understanding of the subject. I absolutely love pets and have cared for not only dogs of various sizes, but also cats as well.
