Hello family! My name is Sofia and I am 24 years old. I am currently enrolled in a Medical Assistant Program (graduating soon) and working toward furthering my education as a LPN, and then RN. First, I want to gain field experience as a MA and then seek to enter a bridge LPN program and pass the NCLEX. Since I am interested in pediatrics, I would love to keep working with children. Being in healthcare has given me valuable skills in first aid and caregiving. Some of my most valuable skills are that I am Bilingual (English and Spanish), my passion for helping others drives me to provide the best care as possible and I make sure to bring dedication and creativity into everything I do. I have been surrounded by and grew up with children throughout my life. I used to babysit my two cousins, so I have hands-on experience. Additionally, I have cousins with special needs, including Autism and Down Syndrome, which has given me valuable experience with children with diverse needs.
