About Sofia

Hello there! My name is Sofia and I am 24 years old. I love being surrounded by children because helping others is my passion. I am currently enrolled in a Medical Assistant Program (graduating soon) and working toward furthering my education as a LPN, and then RN. After graduation, I will enter a bridge LPN program, complete additional coursework and pass the NCLEX licensing exam. Being in healthcare has given me valuable skills in first aid and caregiving. Some of my most valuable skills are that I am Bilingual (English and Spanish), my passion for helping others drives me to provide the best care as possible and I make sure to bring dedication, passion and creativity into everything I do. I have been surrounded by and grew up with children throughout my life. I used to babysit my two cousins, so I have hands-on experience. Additionally, I have cousins with special needs, including Autism and Down Syndrome, which has given me valuable experience with children with diverse needs.
