About Tirza

Hello! My name is Tirza, I am a professional ballet dancer with Roanoke Ballet Theatre and a part-time college student. This fall, I'll continue my studies at Virginia Tech, where I'm pursuing a degree in Biology with a focus on Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior. I also have experience as both a tutor and a teacher. With several years of experience nannying and babysitting children of all ages, I've provided everything from full-time care to occasional drop-in support, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each family. I believe in engaging with children at their level, helping them develop a strong sense of self while encouraging imaginative play. I also prioritize outdoor activities and exploring the world around us! Beyond childcare, I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching, working with children from ages 4 to 16 in a variety of classroom settings. I've taught structured classes and provided one-on-one tutoring, adapting to each child's needs.
