About Terese

I'd describe my personality as someone who is resilient, passionate, empathetic, and just throwing in an extra one: adventurous. I like working with kids because of their energy, curiosity and creativity. Helping kids grow, learn, and overcoming challenges can be incredibly fulfilling and I love watching their confidence grow. I'm looking for a job that can help to continue to build my experience with kids and be a side job for while I'm finishing up school at Western Washington University to become a Certified Recreational Therapist. I started working with kids when I was 10. A mix of nannying and babysitting. I've constantly been surrounded by kids and I love their energy and spirit. In my spare time, I like to hike, read good books, spend time with friends and family, and play with my kitten, Cleo. My skills include patience and emotional regulation, empathy and understanding with communication skills, and safety awareness.
