About Kaitlyn

I like working with kids because it's very rewarding and fun! Guiding children to be successful and independent is an amazing way to be a part of their journey! In my spare time, I like to crochet, do puzzles, color, calligraphy, and more! I also love to get outside and go for walks, hikes, rollerblading, and recently I've picked up disc golf! One thing you should know about me is I'm a dance teacher! I am unavailable on Wednesday and Thursday late afternoons/evenings as those are the days I'm at the studio. My skills include patience, empathy, and education! I'm able to remain calm and help kids when stress levels are high. I meet them on their level to understand where they're coming from. I validate their feelings before helping them come up with a solution. Eventually they'll need to learn how to solve problems on their own. But as they are growing up, I can be there to help facilitate and guide their development!
