I've been a caregiver of sorts it seems my whole life, But not realizing it, but I cleaned houses for 30 years the last 12 to 14 I've been a caregiver, for my husband before he recently passed 10 yrs ago, and for others. I get along quite well with the elderly and always have. Skills, there's quite a few I've worked with Alzheimer's patients, Parkinson's, and various cancer patients. I have been employed in the past with visiting Angels out of Raleigh. I'm very talkative caring and attentive to all needs. Light housekeeping does not bother me, meal preparation, running errands, doctor's appointments, bathing, help with dressing, meds given, assistance with walking, and just communicating and being a great companion to have around. I care a great deal about the patients I've had in the past. I also seem to have quite the therapy skills, I've been told. Looking for something long-term with one family preferably.
