Tabitha was truly a Godsend for our family as we navigated the difficult journey of caring for our grandmother, who required 24/7 care due to dementia, diabetes, and limited mobility. From the very beginning, Tabitha showed compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of our grandma. Although she initially joined us part-time while working another job, she was always loyal and respectful of her existing commitments, never once compromising the care of either client. She went above and beyond to fill in any chance she could, consistently checking in to see if we needed help when other caregivers were unavailable. Her reliability and initiative were unmatched. One of the most incredible acts of dedication was when she packed and prepared to stay with our grandmother for four consecutive days during a snowstorm to ensure that our family wouldn’t have to worry about no-shows or shift coverage. Her foresight and selflessness gave us priceless peace of mind. Tabitha provided thoughtful, attentive, and highly personalized care. She took the time to prepare meals our grandmother truly enjoyed, often chatting with her to learn what she was craving and keeping us updated with sweet photos, grocery lists, and cheerful updates. She was incredibly trustworthy in managing medications, including monitoring diabetes and administering insulin, and she offered valuable advice from her wealth of experience in end-of-life care. She advocated for our grandmother’s dignity, ensuring she was bathed daily, her hygiene was maintained according to her wishes, and that she was safely and respectfully assisted with toileting and transferring to her hospice bed. Other caregivers struggled in these areas, but Tabitha’s skill and experience shone through. What set Tabitha apart even further was the companionship she offered. She wasn’t just a caregiver—she was a joyful, positive, and encouraging presence in our home. Always on time, dependable, and a seamless communicator, she helped create a strong, cohesive care team and made transitions between shifts smooth and stress-free. Perhaps most importantly, Tabitha walked beside us through our grandmother’s final days, guiding us through every step of the end-of-life process. She not only cared for our grandmother with love and dignity, but she also supported our family emotionally—checking in on us even after her passing and showing a true investment in our well-being. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Tabitha by their side. She is experienced in dementia care, diabetes management, hospice support, and more—but it’s her heart, dedication, and integrity that make her truly exceptional. We are forever grateful to her and give her our highest recommendation.
