About Tenzin

I am unavailable until next summer. I am a certified teacher and have taught Kindergarten and second grade and was rated as a highly effective teacher. I have also previously nannied for children ages 4, 2, 7 and 8. I'm hoping to spend the summer helping your child/children! I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, caring, and calm. I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing the look of surprise and joy on the child's face when they understand something and make a meaningful connection to the work. I'm looking for a job that allows me to care for a child and molds them into an empowered, happy child. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, ride my bike, craft with my Cricut, spend time with my husband and dogs, and work on gardening. My skills include second grade math and reading, writing, and craft making.
