About Annie

Hello there! My name is Annie and I am a certified special education teacher. I recently retired from Lincoln Consolidated Schools from Childs Elementary school. I have taught special education and regular education combined for 30 years. I enjoy working with children and setting goals for them and see the progress that they make! Even though I have retired, I would really like to pursue work in the area of education. I have had trainings in the area of reading and phonics. I have a particular program that I use that really has shown wonderful results in the area of reading , I also have taught math for many years in the grades kindergarten through third. I love to make learning fun! Through games, activities I have an outgoing personality, and I really try to make tutoring and enjoyable experience. During those tutoring sessions, we are also very focused on what our goal is. Thank you for your consideration!
