I began tutoring at the YWCA in 2011 under a mentoring program designed for young girls in the DMV area. I then became a program facilitator and was in charge of overseeing a group of 10-20 girls between the ages of 5-18, as well as a group of 10-15 mentors. It was a pleasure, as I had been doing it voluntarily, out of the kindness and passions of my heart.
