I love working with kids because the connection you can make with them really means something to them. It's so fulfilling when a kid opens up to you and feels comfortable around you. If I can make a kid happy, keep them entertained, or let their creativity shine, I feel like I've done my job. I'm looking for a job that's pretty part time. I work a full time job as a retail manager but I love working with kids. My work schedule is different every week but I never work evenings and I'd be more than happy to babysit to give parents a break. I'm the oldest of 5 and I have grown up babysitting my siblings and cousins. I also coached kids tennis for 2 summers and their ages ranged from 4-13. In my spare time, I like to be outside, baking, creating art, playing with my cats, or growing plants. My skills include communication, organization, and cleanliness. I feel like I'm able to communicate with kids very well and understand what they need. I'm also great at keeping things clean and tidy.
