About Taylar

Hi, I'm Taylar, a 20-year-old from Hamlet, NC, who moved to Asheville in August 2024 to pursue my passion for pediatrics through the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at AB Tech Community College. I absolutely love kids-I'm definitely a kid at heart-and I enjoy all kinds of fun activities, from crafts and board games to running around outside! I'm currently working as an after-school counselor at the YMCA here in Asheville, where I get to spend time with kids on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I'm reliable, caring, and always ready to make playtime both fun and educational. Whether it's helping with homework or just having a blast with arts and crafts, I strive to make sure every child I care for feels safe, valued, and entertained.
