Fun, compassionate and enthusiastic caregiver with 8 years of experience in education. I am a former special education teacher, working for the last 2 years with primary school students ages 5-11. I have 6 years of experience working with middle schoolers teaching life science and earth space science. I love hiking , yoga, animals, music and anything outside! I feel that enrichment through exploration in the world is key to a child's developmental success. My experience as a teacher has given me a unique perspective into the world of child development and has taught me how to identify and meet the unique needs of children . It has also allowed me to hone a wide range of skills including specialized sensory support for neurodivergent individuals, behavior management, individualized instruction, empathy, vigilance, leadership, quick thinking and the ability to pivot when necessary.
