About Tanya

I was my parents primary care giver for about 5 years. My Mom was legally blind, she had dystonia and dementia well. My Dad had lung cancer and dementia. I took them to appointments, cooked their meals, prescription assistance, did grocery shopping, errands, and pet care. I was a Chef for many years, I love the outdoors, gardening and baking sourdough bread and my husband and our dogs. I'd describe my personality as energetic, outgoing and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I believe they still need the care and love that they provided for us. I'm looking for a job that I can feel good about and make a positive impact on others. I started caring for seniors when my Mom became legally blind. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors. One thing you should know about me is that I am very caring person that enjoys bringing joy and compassion to others. My skills include being very patient, showing and being compassionate to them as individuals and professionalism.
