I am a special education teacher and have a B. A in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) along with endorsements in ESOL, reading, ESE k-12, and common core Elementary education. I have experience teaching elementary math, science, social studies, reading, and students on modified curriculum. My tutoring style is very unique and heavily differentiated based on my students' individual learning styles. I work hard to develop lesson plans that are interactive and keep the student engaged and focused while learning, no matter the subject area. While the standards may be common, I know that students are not. Each student has their own learning styles, strengths, and areas of growth. Tali spent 3 years with us taking care of two children now 10 and 13, every business days from 3pm to 7pm. She is a rare pearl. She is definitely dependable and punctual but also very resourceful. She was able to create a safe and lovable connection with both of them. She took care of everything kids need from 3pm to 7pm: homework assistance and tips to succeed, lunchboxes, aftercare programs, doctor and dentist appointments, school supplies shopping, reading, art and craft, organizing play dates, playing and prepping the evenings. My children found in her an amazing role model and us, piece of mind. You will be lucky to have Tali in your life.
