Hello! My name is Sydney. I have been babysitting for children of all ages since I was 15. I have always loved children, I even worked at a daycare in the infant room for a summer between school years in college! I received training for creating curriculum for teaching infants and toddlers to help them develop their brains and meet appropriate milestones. I am currently a manager at a dog resort/training center, so I am looking for side gigs. I have a bachelors degree in Criminology and Psychology from Butler. Eventually, I would like to go into social work. I have reliable transportation, am a non-smoker, I can help with meal prep, cleaning, and I have lots of experience with pets (especially dogs!) I would love to meet up to get to know potential families looking for the occasional sitter!

Sydney has been absolutely wonderful with our family. She started caring for our first child when he was just a toddler, and when our second baby arrived, she transitioned seamlessly to caring for both. From day one, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly patient. It’s not easy to juggle the needs of a toddler and an infant, but Sydney handled it with such ease and confidence. Our toddler felt comfortable with her right away and loved spending time with her, while our baby received the gentle, loving care he needed. She was especially great with routines—naps, meals, and playtime all ran smoothly, which brought a lot of consistency and peace of mind. She kept our toddler engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities and always made sure both kids were well looked after. On top of that, Sydney was punctual, communicative, and always left our home neat and tidy. She’s reliable, caring, and clearly passionate about working with children. We’re so grateful for her and highly recommend her to any family looking for a trustworthy, nurturing sitter!
