About Sydney

I have various different skills to bring to the table, but I would say my top three are empathy, communication, and responsibility. Starting with empathy, I am currently studying social work as my major in college. I have 5+ years working with children with different various special needs, as well as a sibling. Through these things, I have grown my ability for being empathetic immensely. When a child knows they are loved and cared for, a great connection and bond can be formed! Secondly, I have great communication skills. I will always ask questions and clarify if I am unsure about something. I will always follow up the care with a brief overview of what happened that day. I make sure to brief parents on and major concerns or events that happen as well. Finally, I am responsible. I make sure to follow rules and complete tasks thoroughly. I make sure to keep everyone safe, as well as making sure I have eyes on everyone! I am excited to potentially start this journey with your family!
