About Sydney

Hello, I am graduate student at the University of Minnesota specializing in School Psychology. As a babysitter, a former lifeguard, a teaching assistant (both foreign and domestic) and the daughter of Montessorian I have worked with a variety of children from different background. I have completed lifeguard, CPR/AED, Oxygen and First Aid training and will update my training this summer in everything but the lifeguard training. I take an authoritative ( high demand & high caring) approach to working with children. I weave in anti-racist approaches into my work and strive to foster empathy, critical thinking skills and healthy emotional awareness. I am not a housekeeper, but I will clean up any mess I make and I can prepare meals.
