Hello! I have 20+ years of experience working with children. I started babysitting back in 5th grade and nannied through high school and college. I was trained as a lifeguard and have taken CPR classes. I am currently a certified Elementary teacher and have worked with children ages birth - 6th grade. I absolutely love my job and working with kids and I do have a kid of my own. I am happy to help when needed but do parent 50/50 and so if you are flexible with your days needed I can make it work. With my co-parenting schedule I find myself with weekday evenings and weekends open at times and like to keep busy. I know how hard it can be to leave your child with someone so I'd love to help ease that transition and be a helpful and reliable babysitter for you!

We had the pleasure of having Carissa occasionally as a nanny for our 4-year-old son, and we couldn’t be happier with her care. She is extremely professional, warm, and always has a big smile, which immediately put our son at ease—even though he doesn’t speak the language. Carissa quickly connected with him through play, adapting to his interests while gently introducing him to English in a fun and natural way.
