As a certified English teacher with seven years of experience, I am dedicated to helping students excel in all subjects through the following: - Structured paragraph and essay writing - Analytic reading and interpretation of literature and informational text - Distinguishing fact from opinion and identifying reliable sources - Proper citation formatting Other Services: - Homework organization and study planning - Test prep for AP courses & SAT/ACT I enjoy tutoring because I appreciate working one-on-one with students on the writing process. I have consistently provided one-on-one assistance to my students in afterschool writing lab programs. This school year, I also supported students through a public school home-leave program. One thing you should know about me is that I'm dedicated to my students. My top three tutoring skills are also qualities I seek to develop in my students: organization, consistency, and high expectations.
